THANK YOU

A big THANK YOU to all families that showed up for our Outdoor Classroom Workday last Saturday!  We are so grateful.  Everyone pitched in to relocate the raised pollinator beds in preparation for the tire swing addition. The plants were moved to two sites, one behind the veg garden, and the other along the new fence line on Westway to repopulate plants lost to the fence installation.  It looks great, thank you!

PAC BUDGET MEETING

Annual PAC Budget meeting - Tues Oct 11, 6-8pm in the library with childcare and pizza available

The PAC runs fundraisers year round such as the Holiday Auction, The Carnival, and smaller ones like the Art Cards, and Purdy's Chocolates to pay for various programs at school.  The money spent is for the benefit of all the students and goes towards creating fun opportunities and experiences. For example, last year we (you) paid for Sound Kreations dance troupe, Indigenous Drum Making and Lessons, Basketball and Gymnastic lessons with local professionals, as well as other fun events like the Movie Night and Splash Day.

Please come to our Annual Budget meeting to give your input on the programs PAC will provide for the next academic year.

HOTLUNCH

Our first Hot Lunch is Thursday 13th Oct with the order deadline Wednesday Oct 5th please see order details below.

Each school year, parents need to re-register on the hot lunch ordering system.  It is quick and easy to do this, the instructions were sent out to you via email, please contact the office at [email protected] if you need the instructions re-sent to you.

Like last year, all hot lunches will be by donation.  The hot lunch program is a fundraiser for the PAC, helping to fund all sorts of fun activities for our kids!  Once you are registered and have entered your kids in the online ordering system, you will be able to place hot lunch orders up until about a week before each hot lunch date.  Emails will be sent out to remind everyone of ordering deadlines.  When you place an order, select the food items you want as well as the donation amount of your choice.  Note that we are also offering $50 Nesters gift cards on the hot lunch ordering system, as we have in previous years.  Buying these through the PAC is a great way to support your school while doing your grocery shopping!
