In honour of survivors and of those who never returned, SD48 is taking steps to address the ongoing legacy of Residential Schools and to learn and teach the truth about Canada's history. This calendar serves as a guide to recognize and celebrate a wide array of observances and events that highlight the diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives that enrich our educational journey. Every month, we will spotlight the observances and events specific to that month.
